2nd Annual KidsRun Victoria – Sunday June 12th, 2011

Your support and generosity was amazing. It was a beautiful day in the sunshine and everyone seemed to have a really great time.

We would like to thank all those who came out and supported the 2nd Annual KidsRun Victoria at Tillicum Centre on June 12th.The KidsRun Organizing Committee presented a cheque to VIHA’s Pediatric Oncology Department for over $15,000 in their ongoing efforts to find a cure and support our local hospital and the forever growing needs of the pediatric oncology clinic.

Prizes!!! We awarded a Team Spirit award for the biggest Team to Team Survivor Jaimey and a FUNdraiser prize for the most pledges/donations collected by an individual to Jack Westhaver.Questions??  Please email jack@westhavers4kids.com

This Flash Mob was presented by Sole Sisters Victoria at Tillicum Centre in Victoria, BC, Canada on June 11, 2011. This ‘flash’ was performed to promote the 2nd annual KidsRun Victoria Family 1k & 5k celebration which raises awareness of childhood cancers. This 2nd annual event was held on Sunday June 12, 2011 with all proceeds to support the Victoria General Hospital Pediatric Oncology Clinic. Sole Sisters are all about being ‘able’… we believe we CAN make a difference… so all kids CAN… winning the race against childhood cancers. KidsRun Victoria 2010

The first annual KidsRun Victoria held in May 2010 raised over $12,000.  An additional $9000 was raised through individual team members that were fundraising and in total we took a cheque over for $21,000+ to Child Run in Vancouver to BCCH on June 5, 2010.
